Coloring flying fish for Children's Day~

It was HOT! Rowan loves his new hat! I think my favorite part was when he came upstairs wearing it with his backpack filled with a notebook, pencil and last months Magic Treehouse Book about The Dragon King in China.  He was playing the part of Jack and it was adorable~
Of course he had to have some swords~

 Sharing some Moshi~

A little early mother's day present for myself~

A Bit of Homeschooling and Life

What a week.   Haircuts and errands galore.  Last music class for the school year.  Football practice and games. Dinner to the mama of our newest unschooler and canceled plans due to ear infections and bad falls!

I tripped and fell and hit the concrete hard on Wednesday.  So hard I was literally in tears.  My hands are bruised, my knee is in bad shape and I hit my cheek into the ground.  Falling is not fun at any age but I swear the older I get it is traumatic! But I carried on and delivered the food and took Rowan to Farfalle.  Thankfully David was able to take him to music class.  I don't think I could have gotten up and down so many times!  Willow has been crying in pain with her ears and we are on day 2 of horrible pain, even with meds. I am ready for this week to be over!  But even in the crazy we have had such joy~

Getting ready to see Farfalle at Kingsbury Hall! It was so perfect with our Butterfly studies~

Rowan loved the performance and I love that they brought all the kids up on stage to participate~

Poetry tea time this week was lovely.  I may or may not have cried through The Giving Tree~

Cards for a dear friends upcoming birthday party!  She loves cats so he drew her a cat!

So in love with this homeschooling life~

April Kiwi Crate: Fun with Flight

 All about flight this month!

 He built a rocket launcher~

 And made some rockets~

 And launched them!

Then we made kites to fly~

He has had more fun with these kites today than I ever imagined!

Love this kid!

 And read more about flight~

And created some cool flying machines!

This one was tons of fun!

I like all the extra ideas they send along~
