October 4th: Ghosts, Pumpkins and Spiders Oh My!

I made this garland for our mantle and Rowan wanted to make his own so I taught him how to make pom poms!

 Wrapping the dining chairs~

He had helped me bake chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin muffins earlier and the house smelled divine...plus his face was too cute covered in chocolate~ (All Keto of course and oh so good!)

He worked really hard shaping his pom poms~

 3 spiders ready for legs~

now 3 pumpkins ready for vines~

wrapping a book for ghost making~

 trimming~

He ended up making two ghosts because he needed them for a game he had in his head~

But he let me hang one ghost and his spider and pumpkin in our Halloween tree~

As we were headed to music class in the evening he said "Mom, it was a good day.  I love crafting and cooking with you" ...be still my heart~

More Halloween magic to come!
