October 14th: Santa Monica

First item on the to do list was to hit the pool.  He was not happy that we couldn't go the night before upon arrival but we were all so tired!
This kid is a fish and could swim all day~
Of course he loves the hot tub too~

This was our spot for the week.  I would totally camp here again.  We were 5 min from Disneyland, it had a great pool and hot tub, the bathrooms and showers were really nice and all the people we met were so kind! We weren't sure how we were going to like camping and doing the theme park thing but lets be real, this is not really camping and it was nice to come back to our place so to speak~

Then we were off to Santa Monica Pier~

 It was crowded!
 But the beach was awesome!

 Live sand dollars~

The kids kept finding these little sand crabs~

He is a very determined sand castle builder~

 Making friends wherever we go~

 Time for some rides~

and some smashed pennies of course!

Back to the beach for one more stroll~

Until next time Santa Monica~

Then it was back to the campground for a soak in the hot tub before our big day at Disneyland!
