Unschoolers at Young Living Lavender Farm and the Springville Fish Hatchery

 A wonderful day with friends~

First stop was the Lavender Farm...  We did this trip years ago with our Project Wild Group (just a different fish hatchery) and it was so fun that I wanted to do it again. I can't believe how much may kids have grown!  Its a blink guys, really.

We had a picnic while waiting for everyone to arrive~

 Sweet baby Violet~

Then it was time to load up on the wagons for a tour of the farm~

Yep, she was happy to "drive"~

 We saw the animals~

 Toured the medieval village~

Then we had a distillery tour~

They had just finished cooking up a batch of lavender~
It had a really strong smell~

We went underground to see where the oil separates from the water~

And then to the lab to see where they collect the oil for testing~

Then it was time for lavender ice cream and lemonade~

The off to play in the old west area~

 And the medieval area~

And I had to capture some kids in the lavender~

A beautiful day at the farm~

Then we were off to the Springville Fish Hatchery to learn about the rainbow trout that they raise and release~
We got to see the different stages from egg to tiny fish ready to eat food~

And then we got to see the fish in their pools waiting to grow~

Of course there was also Pokémon Go!

 It was quite interesting~
Such a great life being an unschooler~
