December 10th: Holiday Movies

Today was Pj's and Holiday movies~
And lots of knitting for mom.  I finished one mitten now onto the next~

Rowan hid under the blankets from the Grinch~
Willow went with her friends Vincent and Joaquin to the Faraday Lectures at the University of Utah. She was all stories when she got home.  She thought it was really cool~
"Professors Janis Louie and Tom Richmond perform a dynamic series of chemical experiments that educate and entertain audiences of all ages!
Michael Faraday – the discoverer of electromagnetic induction, electro-magnetic rotations, the magneto-optical effect, diamagnetism and field theory – was born in London in 1791. Faraday served as director of the Royal Institute in London and enhanced its reputation as a center for scientific research and education. A gifted lecturer, he began presenting his Christmas Lectures for Children at the Royal Institute in the 1820s. With Faraday as their guide, audiences entered wholeheartedly into the world of science. In that tradition, the University of Utah Department of Chemistry has given the annual Faraday Lectures since 1981. "

And the countdown continues~
