Backpacking Cataract Gorge

So, after last years attempt at getting to Grandaddy basin of the Uinta mountains David, Josh and Aric decided to give it another go this year.  This time the brought along our nephew, Warren, to share in the adventure.  As you may remember last year they attempted this in August and were turned back by a freak snow storm that dumped 5 inches of snow on them during a massive storm.

So this time they got on the trail extra early, however Josh wasn't feeling well.  His Asthma reared it's ugly constrictive head and forced them to turn back after only a mile on the trail.  Instead of returning back to the city or to the cabin like last year they decided to head to Cataract Gorge to camp there.

Without further delay, here are the pictures.

So, on our day hike we tried a new backpacking item, tuna in a pouch.  Specifically I purchased Sweet and Spicy Tuna.  And of course everything is better with squeeze cheese right?

No, that's not Josh gagging on the Tuna & Cheese Cracker.  While he was talking a fly flew right into the back of this throat and he coughing and choking on it.  Eventually he swallowed it.....

Infinitely worse than the Tuna & Cheese Crackers.
