Wasatch Woodland Forest School: Day 2

It was another fabulous day at school for Rowan!
 He scooped water...

 He played with friends...
And this time he even ventured high onto the mountain...
To dig deep into the wonderful dirt!
He played alone for some time making "food" for me to eat.

 Filling buckets...

 And dumping them!

I want to remember these tiny working hands...

He found some mushrooms and he made me mushroom pie...

But I don't think this pie tastes very good!

 Then we were off...
 To collect pine cones...

 And bark..
I showed him a stick that was missing most of it's bark and how it could peel off.  He said "WOW" and then said "hug" to the tree :)

Love my little nature boy and our wonderful friends at Forest School!
