St Patrick's Day Crafting

Last week, Willow and I attended a "St Paddy's day craft night" at the Girl Scout Council. We made shirts and headbands to wear in the parade and Willow learned to dance an Irish dance. Sierra, Willow's cousin, was also there from our troop. Willow had a great time!

Whale Watching

On Sunday, Kathy and I took a boat ride out in hopes of seeing some whales! It was perfect timing for the grey whales migration North. We were able to see 3, but they are quick and I didn't get any pictures. I did get a video but it is really long and only shows the spray :)

There were dolphins everywhere! They were so amazing.
WARNING: The sound is terrible! Might want to mute ;)

Redondo Beach Getaway: March 2010

Last week, I went to Redondo Beach, CA with my dear friend Kathy who was attending the Trust Birth Conference. We had such a great time! I was able to run every morning along the beach and take long naps in the sun without anyone asking me to drive the somewhere or cook food! It was so great :) A much needed break!

I LOVE the ocean. It was so great to be there. I miss it so much living in Utah. The Great Salt Lake is just not the same ;)

These are just some photos I took of the beach and pier.

Mojitos! Happy hour at Kincaid's. After the conference each day, Kathy and I enjoyed the yummiest seafood and drinks!

The Masque of Beauty and The Beast...part Deux

Tonight we went with Grandma and Grandpa to see Mara perform in The masque of Beauty and the Beast. She did an amazing job as always! Willow says "I have the coolest sister" :)

One more performance on Saturday night at 7:30 pm at the Masonic Temple. Mara would love to see you there!
